Property insurance provides protection
against most risks to property, such as fire, impact by
aircraft, earthquake, storm, tempest, flood, tsunami, impact by
road vehicles, riot ,malicious damage and theft.
Property is insured in two main ways
- "All Risks" and named perils. "All Risks" is not really all
risks ! Cover is provided for all the causes of loss not
specifically excluded in the policy. Common exclusions on "All
Risks" policies in include damage resulting from nuclear
incidents , acts of terrorism and war. Named perils require the
actual case of loss to be listed in the policy for insurance to
be provided. |
