Shetty has spent 36 years in the insurance industry in both insurance broking and underwriting and over ten years with RMS.

Shetty has handled various energy accounts in India including ONGC, HPCL and Indian Oil. Shetty was also responsible for setting up and administering the insurance programme for Midwesco, a leading oilfield services contractor in Oman.

Shetty handles clients involved in a wide variety of businesses including pharmaceuticals, furniture manufacture, plastics and engineering.

Hussein Ibrahim Dawood

Business Development
Manager

Hussein has worked in the insurance industry for 30 years in a number of roles with insurance companies and insurance brokers.  He has attended numerous insurance courses both in Oman and overseas and completed his Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute at the UK College of Insurance.
 

Hussein started his career with Oman National Insurance Company in Oman where he held positions in underwriting and reinsurance before moving into business development and managing branches in Sohar and Buraimi.

Hussein moved to UAE in 2000 to take up a business development role but decided to return home to Oman in 2011 and join RMS.

Vishnu Mohan

Manager Corporate Risks

Vishnu has more than 30 years working experience in the general insurance industry.  In India, Vishnu held senior underwriting positions with a major insurance company before progressing into administration and management.

Vishnu has handled the insurance programmes for major corporations including Chennai Petroleum and Neyveli Lignite and subsequently led his company’s Broker Servicing Division in India handling enquiries from more than 50 established brokers.

Vishnu joined RMS in May 2009 to reinforce our corporate servicing team.

P.Gopakumaran

Manager Employee Benefits

Gopakumaran has worked for RMS for 18 years and is currently managing the employee benefits operation of RMS.  Gopan’s role is to ensure continued quality of service throughout the employee benefits department, discussing options available and assisting clients in identifying appropriate insurance cover.

Gopakumaran has been responsible for setting up and handling the employee benefits programme for Occidental of Oman, MB Petroleum Group, Muscat Pharmacy Group, Daleel Petroleum, the American British Academy, Parsons International, Ray International and many other well respected names in the business community.
